The Certificate III provides students with generic business administration skills as well as
specialised skills in Medical Administration. Students completing the Certificate III can continue into
the Certificate IV in Business followed by the Diploma of Business Administration.
The Diploma of Business Administration is designed to provide the student with a planning and
organisational perspective of administration, which builds upon the student’s existing computer
skills using complex technical features. This course provides training for office managers at the
management level.
Graduates from the Diploma of Business Administration are guaranteed credit of 1 year (9 credits)
towards Holmesglen’s Bachelor of Business Administration or 8 credits towards Holmesglen’s
Bachelor of Business (Executive Administration).

The Certificate III provides students with generic business administration skills as well as
specialised skills in Medical Administration. Students completing the Certificate III can continue into
the Certificate IV in Health Administration.
The Certificate IV covers workers who provide administrative functions in health services where the
employee is required to work autonomously or as a senior member of staff in an administrative
team.
Graduates may seek work opportunities as an administration supervisor, practice manager, ward
clerk, medical records section leader, team leader for clinical services or a business manager.
On satisfactory completion of the Certificate IV in Health Administration, students may enter the
Diploma of Business Administration.

The Diploma of Banking Services Management has been designed for those currently working
in, or who wish to work in the banking and retail financial services sector, or within a business
environment where team and business responsibilities include branch environments, small business
banking, commercial lending or retail lending.
The Certificate III in Financial Services and the Certificate IV in Banking Services have been
approved by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). ASIC is Australia’s
corporate, markets and financial services regulator.
Graduates from the Diploma of Banking Services Management at Holmesglen are guaranteed credit
of 1 year towards the Holmesglen Bachelor of Business Administration. Alternatively, they may
apply for up to 1 year of credit into the Charles Sturt University Bachelor of Business Studies at
Holmesglen.

The Advanced Diploma of Management (Human Resources) has been designed to meet the training
needs of people working, or wishing to work, in human resources, training, industrial relations or
quality management. The courses will develop the knowledge, skills and professional practices
relating to human resource management.
Graduates of the Advanced Diploma may apply for personnel, training, industrial relations or quality
management positions in a wide range of public and private organisations.
Graduates from the Advanced Diploma of Management (Human Resources) are guaranteed credit
of 1.5 years towards Holmesglen’s Bachelor of Business Administration. Alternatively, they may
apply for up to 1.5 years of credit into the Charles Sturt University Bachelor of Business Studies at
Holmesglen.
