How to apply:
Graduate
research degrees
Some faculties and graduate
schools require that you include a
research proposal as part of your
application. A research proposal
is a short document that states
your research question, your
area of research interest and how
you propose to undertake your
research. To develop a successful
proposal, you need to be familiar
with current research in the area
– identifying gaps in the research
literature can be a way of fnding an
original research topic.
