Nested qualifications

To maintain flexibility and cater for the increasing industry and business requirement for continuous professional development, our Master of Business Administration comprises a number of nested qualifications. This enables flexibility with multiple exit points and seamless progression from one qualification to the next.

If students enrol in the master's program but do not complete the entire degree, upon completion of the specified number of subjects they may exit with a lower qualification.

Students who choose to study only 6 specified subjects will gain a recognised Graduate Certificate in Business Administration. Similarly those students who study the ten specified subjects required for a Graduate Diploma of Business Administration may also exit upon completion of those subjects.

Elective subjects

Students have the opportunity to select their elective subjects from within 8 specialist management fields. Individual subjects will be offered according to student demand, therefore not all electives may be offered in all trimesters in all locations. Please refer to the overview featured to the right for the subject breakdown by field. Ask your Kaplan representative for further information on the electives available at each location.

Our MBA program includes a range of compulsory subjects that will provide students with an in-depth understanding of how businesses operate. Students may choose to specialise through selecting electives in line with their past experience, individual interest or career opportunities.
