This graduate accounting program provides an understanding of the framework and fundamental principles of the accounting industry. It is ideal for those with a qualification in a non-accounting discipline wishing to begin a career in accounting or finance.

Graduate Certificate in Accounting

POSTGRADUATE

This program offers an opportunity to develop the basic statistical and economic literacy skills required for data analysis in economics, finance and business management.

Progression

Successful graduates will be eligible for 4 subjects of credit towards Kaplan’s Master of Accounting or Master of Professional Accounting.

Achievements

Upon completion of the Graduate Certificate in Accounting, students are able to: • apply appropriate professional and analytical skills to address specific accounting and business issues and challenges

• discuss management of information systems and technologies in modern accountancy

• apply key economic principles, theories, models and laws to solve common economic problems
