Life on Campus

Our modern campuses are designed to facilitate learning and personal development both academically and as part of an active student community. Students may choose one of our four campuses – Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney – or take advantage of the opportunity to combine study locations. All locations are conveniently located close to the central business districts and public transport networks.

Your life on campus

Orientation

All students must attend the orientation program on their frst day. Students receive information on study skills, school services and facilities, their responsibility as a student, the local area and transport options. Students will also have the opportunity to discuss their units of study.

IT facilities

Kaplan offers a modern study environment with plenty of easily accessible IT resources for students including: computer laboratories, photocopying, printing, email, internet and school intranet facilities.

Library access

Students may have access to resources at selected local university libraries, as well as an extensive online library of relevant databases, electronic articles and books, accessible on campus at KBS.

Student services

All of our students are provided with the academic guidance and individual support they require. Our friendly Student Services team are on site and able to answer any questions students might have.

Our Student Services team are also available to help all international students make a smooth transition into life in Australia. Services on offer to assist with this process include: • airport greeting

• orientation to local sites and facilities • assistance with public transport

• temporary and permanent accommodation placement

• comprehensive orientation program • ongoing student welfare support and counselling

• assistance with Overseas Student Health Cover

• additional services for under 18 students

Individual tuition and academic advice

Kaplan provides individual tutors in a variety of course areas to assist students requiring extra help with their studies. Our lecturers are also available to answer questions and provide assistance to students who need additional support. Advice regarding university pathway opportunities, or career options can be sought by students, as can guidance on the courses, workload and subjects of study best suited to achieving their desired outcome.
